EU AI Act

EU AI Act

Compliance consulting for small AI products

We took our own product — three AI features on a solo-founder stack — through Article 50 in a day, and documented every step. We do the same for yours: technical compliance work from practitioner experience. Not a law firm, and not pretending to be one.

What we do

  • Gap assessment. We inventory every AI feature in your product, classify each one (provider or deployer, which Article 50 paragraphs, any high-risk or prohibited-practice flags), and tell you exactly what's missing — in a document you keep.
  • Disclosure UX. The Article 50(1) labels, consent copy, and AI-attribution wording for your actual interfaces — written to satisfy the guidelines without making your product feel like a cookie banner.
  • Marking feasibility. The Article 50(2) call for your stack: what can be marked machine-readably today (headers, metadata, visible attribution), what genuinely can't, and the written feasibility assessment that defends the difference.
  • The compliance file. The single document a market surveillance authority would ask for: inventory, classification reasoning, measures, open items with review dates. We write it with you so you can maintain it without us.

Who it's for

Solo founders and small teams building on LLM APIs — the products the AI Act touches through Article 50 but that can't justify a five-figure law-firm engagement. If you run a chatbot, a generator, a rewriter, or AI-assisted workflows, you're the audience. If your product evaluates people or operates in a regulated domain, we'll say so early and point you to specialized counsel instead of overreaching.

What this is not

Not legal advice, and not a substitute for it. We're practitioners who implemented these obligations for our own product — the case study is public— not lawyers. For contract questions, disputes, or anything a regulator has already knocked on your door about, you want a law firm; we're happy to prepare the technical groundwork they'll build on.

Get in touch

A few sentences are plenty. 10–2,000 characters.

We store your inquiry to answer it and delete it when the conversation ends — details in the privacy policy.

Not legal advice

These pages and the self-check share practitioner experience from making our own product compliant. They are technical orientation, not legal advice — for legal questions about your specific situation, talk to a lawyer.
